My name is Bridgette Odom and I am a life-long resident of Buncombe County; attending Fairview Elementary School, Reynolds High School, and UNC Asheville. I have been practicing law since 2004, and have handled numerous felony and misdemeanor cases in Buncombe County and surrounding countiesDuring my three years as an Assistant District Attorney I earned the respect of my colleagues as well as a reputation for being tough but fair in the courtroom. I knew I could not win every case, but I prosecuted each case with my best efforts and helped the victims understand the difficult process of the court system. I primarily prosecuted cases in domestic violence court and juvenile court and worked closely with victims. As a prosecutor, I was known for my professional demeanor and my ability to make tough, reasonable decisions.
I decided to leave the prosecutor's office in 2007 and then opened a general practice firm in December 2007 in downtown Asheville. For the past three years, I have represented clients in criminal, family, juvenile and civil matters. My practice has given me an even greater sense of empathy for the problems that bring people into the justice system. Many of my clients have been impressed by my legal knowledge and my willingness to fight on their behalf. Thanks for visiting my web site.
